Every Season, There's A Reason, To Celebrate A Gay Wedding, Commitment Ceremony, Civil Union, or Domestic Partnership!

Will it be too cold, too hot, to much pollen, to damp?  Regardless of when you plan your gay or lesbian union celebration, there's always a possibility that someone, somewhere will give you advice about the season of the year that you plan your celebration. Winter Celebrations

Winter's are cold for weddings, but if you are thinking about a beautiful rustic mountain lodge surrounded by snow capped mountians as the perfect venue, then pack the pack the boots, ski wear and enjoy.  And don't forget those delicious warm beverages for you guests.

Spring Celebrations

Spring of course is the most popular time for many commitment ceremonies, civil unions, and weddings.  But along with this time of year comes the potential for "take a number and get in line" from vendors, or "sorry we already have another ceremony to attend" by your guests, and of course Mother Nature isn't quite done with her tricks either.  Make sure to plan in advance for your spring wedding!

Summer Celebrations

Summer is great in most locations, but plan carefully for those outdoor venues (book well in advance), think about the heat for you and your guests, make sure the air conditioning is working and that your caterer is used to dealing with heat and potential humidity.  Same goes for your hair dealing with the heat and humidity (this applies to both the ladies and gents)!

Fall Celebrations

And as for the last season of the year...Fall...it can be a win/win if planned right.  Cool but not to cold for  indoor and outdoor locations.  Less rush to the find the perfect location than spring and summer (but beware, corporate america loves to hold their conferences and tradeshows in the fall), travel made easier because school is back in sesssion, and a bounty of beautiful fall colors, vegetables, and wines being released to make the celebration a huge success.
